Day 104: Somewhere in Airlie Bay, Australia
Today was the final day of my sailing adventure aboard Broomstick. The mood was mellow amongst the passengers with everyone relaxing along the deck of the vessel as we sailed back to Airlie. It seemed that no one wanted the adventure to end.
There was something very unique about sailing the sea with a group of people, with no specific destination charted. Time became of no consequence, except for those who felt compelled to see sunrise while at sea. Memories were created and new friendships were forged.
Once we disembark, many of us will never see each other again. Yet, we share a bond because of this adventure. For me, it has made my time in Australia much more positive than it had been.
